My brother’s first ever hostel stay and he was fine. Checkin was via a box outside, we never saw a person working there the whole time! Room was good, twin room, really comfy beds. Showers were only one temp with a press button start which ran for about 20 seconds a time! Sure to have a quick shower! Location was great, underground stop right out the front, 2 stops from a central station. Natural History museum just around the corner. No social aspect and seeing no staff meant we couldn’t leave our bags on our last day.

Close to city Center with multiple modes of transport at reasonable price

It’s two stops away from city Center. It’s well connected by Tram, underground train & bus. The price is quite reasonable and the place is neat & tidy. There is no separate drawing hall for everyone to sit & talk. Reception,Kitchen & drawing room is kinda within each other.

Great First Hostel Experience

This was the first hostel that I stayed in. We booked online a few days in advance, and I am happy to report that we had a pleasant experience. We stayed in a shared 8 bed room. To me, the staff was very friendly and the house rules were very straightforward. I thought the space was very clean. I felt comfortable sleeping here. Their bathrooms and kitchen are well maintained. I personally am a fan that you do not have to bring your own sheets or pillow, and you can easily rent a towel. The hostel is also close to some public transportation stops. If I come back to Berlin, I would absolutely stay here again. I thought the price was a great deal for the experience we had.

My friends and I really liked this hostel due to its position (it’s near the metro stop and tram stops), both the room and the bathroom are clean, it’s been restored.. and about the staff.. excellent!! They are all really available to help their customers for every necessity!!

Dishonest and nasty staff

On my first visit I was visibly tired and said so but receptionist went on and on and wanted to chat discuss. On my 2nd visit they quoted 3 prices. When I attended they couldn't find my name on last visit. They owed me deposit but refused. I had to arrange some funds as they changed price 3x when I did he then said too late could not book me in as would disturb other guests. Kitchen is dirty. Place is shabby. Staff sleep in dorm rooms.
